Resulting from a successful Latin American tour of Alternate Realities, an event featuring interactive documentaries and virtual reality experiences, the British Council and Sheffield Doc/Fest join forces again in 2018 to present a capacity programme for emerging artists as part of MUTEK MX.
Sheffield Doc/Fest and MUTEK MX will deliver a programme of seminars and workshops focusing on the creative use of virtual reality and immersive experiences, and on exploring the market for new narratives and technologies in art. The programme will also expose participants to funding opportunities, addressing the so-called immersive economy, widely explored by the UK.
