Docunexión will bring together documentary filmmakers with foundations, NGOs, campaigners, philanthropists, policymakers, brands and media around leading social and environmental issues - to forge coalitions and campaigns that are good for all these partners, good for the films and good for society.

Inspired by Doc Society’s Good Pitch, Docunexion will be hosted by DocsMX in collaboration with local partners, Doc Society and the British Council. The programme will include a sector forum and a 3 -day impact lab, where Mexican film makers and organisations will meet to learn and work on outreach strategies and design of impact campaigns, with the guidance of Doc Society experts. 

This will be the initial stage of a 3-year programme, which will include capacity building for film makers and producers delivered both in Mexico and the UK, and which aims to culminate with the first iteration of Good Pitch in Mexico in 2020.
