As part of the celebration Shakespeare Lives, British Council brought to you a selection of Shakespeare plays, hoping you enjoy it.
This glorious Shakespeare’s comedy arrives at National Theatre for the first time in 30 years, played by Rosalie Craig - actress with 14 years of experience and critics recognition by it’s work on Ragtime and Finding Neverland (both played on 2002). Craig embodies Rosalind, a young woman that was banished with her cousin and his father - a Duke -, being forced to leave her life at court behind and to start her journey at the Arden Forest. There, one she realized about the courtesans conditions, Rosalind experiments a transforming liberty: she disguised as man and chooses a new way of living, and by it’s own bewilderment she fell in love.
